Aventino - Besthesda

Tried this new restaurant in Bethesda. The service was excellent. Even got to chat with the owner’s mother. The appetizers were very good. The fish dish was superb and the spaghetti dish with clams was good although they were small. Apple cake was a nice desert and the sambuca was good but lacking the coffee beans. Only negative thing was the noise. Could barely hear the server. But I would definitely go back.

The sweet breads are amazing the only thing that comes close is Ralph's in South Philly. The anchovies on the sour dough is good too. To make the experience even better was our extremely cool bartender. Definitely best restaurant in the neighborhood.

We had an incredible meal at Aventino. We tried two items from each section of the menu and gots lots of delicious food. The service was also excellent. I would add that garage parking next door was also convenient.Not pictured are the cocktails that were amazing.Worth mentioning it is so nice that Bethesda finally has a high quality, upperscale Italian cuisine resto in the area. Going to DC is always a hassle and brings risks given the many issues in the city. Again, Aventino was great and am so happy to see it in Bethesda!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a main level with no stairs or steps

Excellent food with great variety hard to pick a favorite and service is top notch.

This is by far the best food I’ve had in a restaurant in the US. Everything was great! Gnocco fritto is a must. And to top it all they have a real espresso served in a real cup. Do yourself a favor, don’t eat in crappy chains, save your money and come here instead. Grazie
