We enjoyed a wonderful brunch sitting outside on the red umbrella covered patio at Leah‘s. Everyone in our party found some thing that they really enjoyed in the menu which is a plus when you go out with a group of friends or family. The drinks and cocktail menu has something for everyone. We would recommend the lamb sliders, the frittata, and the blueberry waffles! The orange and strawberry-lemonade spritzers are a nice addition for the summer!
We are big fans of Lia's, but this was a major disappointment. Not the food, which was amazing better than usual. One of the cocktails was not made correctly, but my partner said she liked it anyway. The mushroom bruschetta was fantastic. The service was horrible, however, even allowing for how busy they were when we arrived. More than 20 minutes after being seated, my partner finally approached the host desk. Four or five minutes later, a waiter appeared, apologized and blamed someone else. We tried to order from the menu we had seen online; the waiter came back and said that menu was obsolete even though we had it up on our phones. We made the best of it and enjoyed the food, then decided to have dessert. We ensured they had decaf espresso, ordered two and one dessert. They did not arrive together (grr! , and we were nearly finished the now melted dessert when the waiter arrived with lattes! The waiter seemed to think he was being magnanimous by not charging for the lattes we didn't drink. The final insult: the mismade cocktail was $20, not the $12 it should have been!
Ordered appetizers, they never came. Waiter came to let us know main courses were soon to be ready, was completely unaware appetizers never came. Water server poured water into a half full glass of soda unprompted. Restaurant out of olives, which we'd ordered. Extremely long wait for desert menus to arrive, then for desert itself to arrive. Pre-arranged surprise for guest of honor did not appear, waiter completely unaware. Overall a very ooor experience.
The staff was fine. It was a little busy (multiple large groups), so they were maybe less attentive than might be expected but we don 't like lots of hovering. The gap between receiving meals for our party of four was long (again, probably attributal to multiple large groups). The food itself was just mid . Not bad but not great. Large portions do not make up for flavor in my book. In short, it was fine but nothing I 'd recommend to others.
