We had shrimp cocktail, beef Fajitas, beef taco salad and Enchiladas suiza. It was all delicious and we had leftovers to take home, but unfortunately, the shrimps would not make the 2 hours drive.
Yummy Mexican Food!. This is definitely worth the stop. The service was great and the food was amazing. Your big bowl of chicken soup is for so authentic to die!
Yummy, really on the point!. On our journey from Wichita, KS on the way to visit our son and his wife for the first birthday of our granddaughter in Chicago. It's a Friday during fasting so we were looking for meatless options and we thought we could have the cheese enchiladas. We're so glad we stopped. Very clean and friendly. We sat immediately and the service was excellent. We were there at the end of the meal. Salsa had the right amount of spice. The white cheese is a must and the guacamole was great. I had the fungus adilla with rice and beans and my husband had 2 enchiladas with rice. Everything was delicious. Come on.
Similar to another.... I stayed in this restaurant on the way back to Dallas from Minnesota. Saw the 100% review on Urbanspoon and said: Why not the devil? The place is a bit away after you pass a gas station. Nothing special. The place was not very busy at lunchtime and were sitting immediately. Some chips and salsa get, yes the salsa was very good. They had a special thing, $0.99 tacos, so I ordered four of them. Well, THOSE were some tacos! Loading with meat and not greasy, this is what I expect when I order a taco from a not fast food joint a little more than your fast food taco. The fried beans were also ok, quite standard for a Mexican restaurant. The Sopapilla was different from all I had before (see picture). I get used to something more fluffy, but this guy was flat and had a chocolate drop on it. Very well, I guess it was a bit of a spin on the normal desert. I mean a beautiful find in the state of MO, and somewhere that I would stop when I visit up to MN. I want to make it a favorite for this reason. For those who travel, this place is a specific stop!
100% Delicous!. Best authentic Mexican Restaurant between Kansas City Des Moines! I Absolutely LOVE their nachos, El Plato Loco, Carne esada, fajitas, burritos, and anything else you could think to get there. Very good service.
