Armando's - Bethel

Mae Michael made this lunch absolutely wonderful. Incredibly authentic Italian food and desserts. Highly recommended

This may be the only Italian restaurant owned by actual Italians in the greater Danbury area, where latinos and Albanians seem to gravitate to owning restaurants providing this type of food. Armando 's has a great menu, great ambience and reasonably priced menu. Their eggplant rollatini is as good as it gets. Also, chicken parm, sausage and broccoli rabe, are dishes I often get. Armando 's sauce is also just right. Armando knows how to cook broccoli rabe many local places have it, but it has too bitter a flavor. I believe they still make homemade limoncello, great for after dinner. Excellent wine selection also. Beware of reviews made by people from out of town or people who review Starbucks or PF Chang (especially the embittered friendless Resort 653311 . I perceive a lot of issues in these dysfunctional people, not the restaurant. Always an excellent choice for a group of 4 6. I think Armando 's is the best true Italian restaurant in the Bethel/Danbury/Brookfield area for quality of food, atmosphere, and value.

They were so welcoming and had such great service. The food was also fantastic.

I went for dinner, order chicken marsala with a side of pasta. It was served withcanned tomato sauce on pasta and canned mushrooms that were not even sauteed on the chicken marsala. Are you kidding?

Highly recommend! We cannot express enough great qualities about this family owned business, Food and service is always top notch. We also celebrated our daughters sweet 16th and could not have had a better experience. Thank you!
