Simply the best of the best! The menu options offer great value and are exceptionally accommodating. Overall, the dining experience was delightful, thanks to the wonderful staff and owners. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience in the Danbury/Bethel area. The fried calamari with sweet chili sauce is always a winner, and I added a side of fra diavolo sauce for a traditional twist, which was fantastic! (I highly recommend it.) The Chicken Sorrentino featured a boneless chicken breast topped with pan-seared eggplant, fresh mozzarella, and a rich marinara sauce. The burrata special was new and absolutely made my mouth water!

Portofino's is hands down my favorite restaurant in Connecticut. The food consistently exceeds my expectations, and I’ve never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. Just yesterday, I enjoyed the shrimp risotto, which was wonderfully creamy and packed with shrimp in every bite! The calamari remains my top choice here, and I’m looking forward to trying the hummus on my next visit. The service was quick, cheerful, and courteous. I can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a delightful dining experience in the area.

Portofino's is a fantastic restaurant that provides an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food and service are remarkable, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, consistently offering excellent recommendations. The lobster tail served with mashed potatoes, butter, and vegetables, as well as the Tagliatelle Bolognese, are outstanding choices! I can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend Portofino to anyone seeking high-quality food and an unforgettable experience!

Really love portofino restaurant in bethel ct, we’ve been coming to this location for years, yes we’re locals our favorites are : fried calamari, Cesar salad with grilled chicken was amazing( amazing juicy chard chicken) wifey had beet salad with fried goat cheese, it as spectacular, MiL had Tucson salad has pecans , fig , gorgozola cheese, so delicious . Would highly recommended this location.. Besa was our waitress ,very attentive and pleasant,helpful , very knowledgeable in menu and helpful in helping with recommendations also fun personality.

The absolute best Italian food in Connecticut. We used them for catering, and got many dishes on the menu. Each one was incredible, high quality food done with so much attention to detail, even with such a huge quantity as we ordered ten trays of food. Outstanding food and service.
