Rooster's Roadhouse Lobster Rolls Craft Beer Wine Cocktails

My girlfriend ordered the lobster roll, but there was a bitter green leaf underneath the lobster. Luckily, she didn't finish the roll and started picking at it. When she tasted the green leaf at the bottom, she found it to be extremely bitter. If you're in the area and unfamiliar with the restaurant, I recommend asking what’s underneath the lobster to avoid having it paired with the dish.

The food was tasty, and our waitress delivered outstanding service. However, I had some concerns regarding the restaurant's COVID-19 safety protocols. There was a young man clearing and resetting tables near us who was coughing and wasn't wearing a mask, nor did he have one available. Unlike other restaurants we've dined at, he simply wiped down the tables with his bare hands instead of using disinfectant spray. When I asked him to wear a mask, he returned with it draped around his chin. I also noticed a similar issue with a waitress serving wine at a nearby table. It’s difficult to understand why management is not prioritizing COVID-19 precautions, particularly for the safety of their customers and the longevity of their business. I won’t be returning.

I drove an hour to Roosters on Saturday, only to discover a sign stating that they were closed for the winter. Unfortunately, there was no information about this on their website. I was really disappointed!

We observed a family of four who started off sitting at a high-top table but quickly felt uneasy and asked to move to a booth instead. Once they were seated, the busboy approached their old table, simply tidied up the plates and utensils, and then walked away. This table should have been properly cleared and cleaned before new items were set on it.
