Butchers Alley - Bethesda

Wow! We stumbled upon this place and started chatting with Steve, who was incredibly friendly. He offered us some samples, and we just had to come back later to try a little bit of everything. We're already looking forward to returning for the sandwiches!

Great spot! Nico suggested two amazing cheeses—the St. André and the 3-month Mahón—and a delicious salami. The customer service was incredibly attentive, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Highly recommend!

Our first visit to Butchers Alley was so fantastic that we returned the very next day—and we've been back every weekend since! The staff are exceptionally helpful, always taking the time to answer all our questions (a special mention to Steve at the deli counter and Darjling at the meat counter). The quality of the products and food is outstanding.

The shop has a pleasant atmosphere and offers a decent selection, although it's somewhat lacking in creativity. The attention to detail isn't as high as one might hope for the prices they charge. The meat cuts aren't always trimmed properly, so you might end up paying top dollar for pieces that include more fat and gristle than desired.

The jamón sandwich was quite good, but the cheesecake was disappointing.
