California Pizza Kitchen Bethesda PRIORITY SEATING

This is a fantastic restaurant with TVs and delicious drinks! The service is friendly and the food is excellent.

The prices have increased substantially and the service quality has decreased. We had to request for our table to be cleared and for utensils to be set up. The priority seating option is a positive aspect. The only saving grace was when the hostess offered us complimentary desserts to apologize for the inconvenience.

I would rather have a confirmed reservation instead of being put on a priority waitlist. It seems a bit ridiculous to me. That being said, we have visited the restaurant twice on Saturday nights and found it to be filled with children and very noisy. However, the kids were well-behaved overall. Unfortunately, we had to wait about an hour for our pizza as the oven couldn't keep up with the demand. Our pizza was lined up like airplanes waiting for takeoff. While we enjoyed the food, we will likely avoid going back on a Saturday night in the future.

Great food and service, making a reservation is mostly pointless, they roll people in and out pretty fast and with a reservation we still had to wait.
