Mangoes Mexican Grill - Bethpage

Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, but I probably won't be returning. The food was just average (3 stars), though it might have been a style we're not accustomed to. The portions were adequate, but smaller than we expected given the relatively high prices. However, the standout aspect of our visit was the service. Our waiter was excellent throughout the meal, ensuring our water glasses were constantly filled, checking in on us regularly, and providing great overall assistance. Perhaps it was just an off night for the kitchen, but that was our experience.

This Mexican restaurant offers excellent service. The guacamole is made fresh at your table, and the customized margaritas are outstanding. The salmon and grilled dishes were also good. The chips and salsa, as well as the flan, were satisfactory. Overall, it was a great experience for a reasonable price. The service was quick and attentive, and I would definitely return just for that.

The food is quite overpriced for what you get—it’s just basic Mexican fare. While the flavors were good, nothing stood out as exceptional. I tried the enchiladas suizas, which were decent but definitely needed more sauce. My husband ordered the flauta/burrito/chimichanga combo, which was very greasy and rather small. The only highlight was the rocks margarita I enjoyed with my Corona, which at least helped to overlook the crumbs on the bar, dirt on the menus, and stickiness on the tables. Overall, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Do not get off the atmosphere this place is not authentic Mexican food. free chips and salsa were terrible. the wings spicy and came sweet the taste was ok then ordered huh enchiladas has absolutely no taste and not to mention watered down margaritas

Very good affordable mexican food. Friday evening looked very busy. Only problem fumes and smokes of rhe kitchen in the dinning room. You can take it as an experience. Overall good satisfying food.
