Baja Tacos And Shots - Bettendorf

I got the steak and shrimp burrito GTO which is a burrito that's wrapped in bacon and cheese. The steak was very tender and flavorful. There wasn't a lot of shrimp. I really liked the bacon and cheese that the burrito was wrapped in. It was an interesting twist to a normal burrito. The burrito was a little pricey at $21 but it did feed me for 2 meals. I would get it again.

It was good. The food was dry and a little bland to me. The sauce was on point and helped the food a lot. The restroom was out of paper towels.

The brisket tacos were fantastic. We also got margaritas with an extra shot of tequila in them that were great. They had a magician going between tables doing magic tricks. Like what?!

The food was delicious and so much more authentic than our American idea of Mexican food. The owners are wonderful and everyone pays close attention to make sure you have whatever you need! We brought our kids (family of 5) and all had a wonderful time.

Service was good, but i ordered steak tacos and i don’t think that’s what i got. There was a bunch of water pouring out of my tacos and it tasted like something other than steak. Tongue maybe? The chips were pretty thick and hard and unsalted. All they had for sauces was red and green salsa. I might try it again,l because people told me how good this place was, but not sure.
