Green Hotel - Bhagsu

Stay period: 16.07.2018 to 19.07.2018 Rapid review: Hotel Green is located approximately 45 minutes away from Kangra Airport (Rs. 850 for prepaid taxi). It is an excellent location with good hotel facilities. Rooms offer beautiful views of the Dauladhar mountains and sunsets from the balconies. The hotel is conveniently located near food joints, shopping markets, bus and taxi stands, and major attractions. The mid-range tariffs make it a great choice for a comfortable stay. I recommend opting for the Rs. 2200 rooms on the 2nd floor. Detailed review: Hotel Green offers the best of three worlds - rooms with spacious balconies and mountain views, a central location, and reasonable prices. The hotel also has a nice restaurant on the ground floor, and popular eateries like Nick's Kitchen and Jimmy's Kitchen are just a short walk away. The hotel provides excellent power backup, quality TV connections, flawless housekeeping, and helpful staff. It is within walking distance to major attractions such as Bhagsu waterfall, temples, the Dalai Lama temple, and public swimming pools. The hotel also has taxi contacts for convenience. Keep in mind that monkeys may roam around the balconies looking for food, so it's important to keep balcony doors closed to prevent them from entering. Despite this common occurrence in Mcleodganj, Hotel Green is a great choice for a pleasant stay in the area.

During my stay from 16.07.2018 to 19.07.2018 and in subsequent years, I found the hotel to be located just 45 minutes away from Kangra Airport (taxi fare of Rs. 850/prepaid). The location was excellent and the hotel was good. Guests can enjoy views of Dauladhar and sunsets right from their rooms. The hotel is just a minute away from great food joints, markets, and bus and taxi stands. It is within walkable distance to major attractions and offers mid-range tariffs. I recommend staying on the 2nd floor for a really nice experience. I stayed in room 501, which had a large balcony with mountain views, allowing guests to be close to nature all the time. The hotel is centrally located and reasonably priced. There is a nice restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, and famous restaurants like Nick's Kitchen and Jimmy's Kitchen are just a 2-minute walk away. Overall, I found the location to be perfect for those who enjoy nature but also want easy access to dining and shopping options. The hotel offers excellent power backup, good TV connections, quality internet, flawless housekeeping, and helpful staff to guide you throughout your stay. Major attractions like Bhagsu Waterfall, the public swimming pool, Dalai Lama temple, and marketplaces are within walkable distance. Just a note of caution, monkeys can easily enter if balcony doors are left open. Despite this, I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Green and would highly recommend it to others.

I really enjoy this restaurant. The seating is comfortable and the views are lovely. The owners are great and the drinks and food are delicious. I always feel welcomed here.

This hotel was a great little find! The view from our room was so beautiful over the mountains! It definitely needs some love and attention but who cares with a morning view like we had! They gave us the choice of rooms which was awesome and were friendly and attentive from the start! The food there was so so good and the Momos were amazing!!!!! To top it off the view from the restaurant was just as pretty as from our balcony. Good wifi. We had a great fan but no air con. The location was perfect, just in the centre but not enough that you're bombarded with crowds and traffic! Literally a 1/2min walk to the great craziness of McLeod and 10min slow walk to the Dalai lamas temple, we extended our stay for 4 nights as we loved it that much!

I stayed at Green hotel managed by 2 sweet Tibetan ladies and their hospitable bihari staff and same management runs the restaurant cafe on ground floor which is famous for its coffees cakes Tibetan food etc. We were tempted to eat their ravioli which looked good but since it's only veg and I preferred to eat non veg when away from home we only tried desserts...Walnut chocolate cake was average but their cheese cake was just awesome. I wish to visit this place again for its informal yet sophisticated seating area and their cheese cake...also to stay in their decent little guest rooms which are worth the price
