Pizzeria de l'Ocean - Biarritz

Visited twice already , great family restaurant with good quality food. All at a reasonable price for Biarritz.

Arrived in Biarritz today and with my parents and family decided on some moules and frites overlooking the beach and sea. Picked the restaurant as it was busy however this was a mistake. The waiter was rude and thoroughly ignorant. He did not smile once and made no effort with us at all. The food served was average and the service was possibly the worst I have received in a restaurant. Avoid this restaurant. We were all too polite to have requested a new waiter but you begrudge paying for a meal when you are left feeling uncomfortable due to the ignorance of the staff.

Due to our lack of French they went all out to understand us and make sure we got what we wanted. the waitress was a young lady and very helpful. the food was delicious and very timely. We had been walking all afternoon so all the sudden we went into this place early dinner and the food was done promptly. We had a nice desert it was all for a very reasonable price.

Very nice restaurant with Seaview. We got mussles which were really very tasty. The typical local tarte basque was warm and very nice. The staff was friendly and smily :

A really lovely surprise, after a family afternoon on the beach with the dog. We looked for a bite and found Pizzeria de l’ocean. I had the set menu with good sardines, the fish and creme brûlée, my teenage kids loved the 4 cheese pizza and my wife the vegetarian pizza. With drinks it was good value for 70 euros.
