Ai Portici - BIASSONO

We went to this restaurant last night. We ordered a set menu (Menu Milano) which was first plate pasta (Maltagliati salsiccia e pomodora) followed by Veal cutlet and potato/chips (costoletta di vitello alla milanese con patata). The pasta was delicious but the second plate was awful. At one point I spat out the veal cutlet as I thought it was raw. My husband laughed at me telling me he was surprised I ordered that as it is usually rare, I was insistent there is rare and there is raw meat so I did not eat any more of it. His seemed to be okay and as I am funny about rare meats and have to have my steaks medium to well then I did not complain maybe he was right! Anyway he spent all night up being violently sick in the bathroom. Seems I was right after all!
