Farmerhaus - Bicester

I and my friend have on the 9. March reserved a table for my birthday. The “travel” to the farmhouse is fantastic. We are even from the deepest Odenwald and were still intrigued. The view and location is fantastic. The building and the complex are well maintained outside! If you are from the parking lot towards Farmerhaus, you can already hear African music sounds from the boxes of the outdoor complex. In the farmer's house we are welcome as if we had been there for 20 years every day. I was congratulated on my birthday, the jackets were removed and we were accompanied to our place. The card was then handed over to us, an aperitif and a bottle of water for the menu. The surprise menu was also offered to us. The service was very good, very accommodating and beautiful. I ordered the wine tasting for the surprise menu. The wines were excellently matched to every walk, each wine was also announced and the bottle was shown and gifted at the table. The food was excellent. There was a greeting from the kitchen. I can't go on eating, that would be the framework of my review, in focus, it was fantastic! It was all from zebra to mussel. At Dessert there was a wonderful candle on my birthday. Since I am a smoker, I have been delivered every time for the jacket and then removed again. In the outdoor area there were heaters that embellish the cigarette at cold temperatures. Last but not least, we had a very nice conversation with the head of the house that took a lot of time for us. Together we had a fantastic evening and we are very happy to come back. The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable and not to doubt when considering the quality of food and services. Greeting to the team, very nice concept, more so!

An authentic South African restaurant in the vineyards of Umstadt. Excellent wines... African specialties from Zebra to Krokodil. Inconspicuous top service with trained staff in the restaurant. Excellent terrace with views in the middle of the vines for champagne reception and sunset Unfortunately not for dinner. Tip: highly recommended

We have eaten here on the occasion of our annual day. the restaurant is very beautiful decorated in African ambiente, with great love to detail. we were welcomed very friendly and very attentive and friendly. as an appetizer we had a compilation of several appetizers. there was everything from zebraschinken to garezellhackfleisch. everything tasted very good and exceptional. as a main dish I had crocodile meat, very delicate, exotic and tasty to describe it, they must have eaten it, which tastes like huhn is simply wrong away. there was a very tasty tomatenkutney and some kartoffel-like. everything was very good. because this is a restaurant with higher quality, prices are therefore already somewhat more expensive, but for special occasions they can afford this in any case! it is worth going to the exotic to Africa in the farmerhaus. I'm going back here anyway!

We had on 09.06. for four people first reserved in the interior, but then decided to go outside. That was the right decision. Not that there is no beautiful ambience, but we had the impression that we were sitting in the middle of the forest. Also the view down in the city of Groß-Umstadt is beautiful. If it's just something from the block on the left, but the restaurant can't... The prices are high, but absolutely correspond to the quality, ambience and location. We like to come back. It was a big evening small tip: absolutely read the creation of the farmhouse on the first side of the menu. Very interesting
