Black Diamond Tavern - Big Bear Lake

We went off the trails and wanted to get beer and a bite. This place exceeded our expectations. Grilled chicken sandwich was totally bombarded with a full Serrano pepper on it. Hawaiian rolls were also a great choice. It can be employed to accelerate and order your order only to the bar, instead of waiting for the waiting staff. They're overwhelmed, kind of understated. Make reservations if you want table. I like the bar.

Great place for dinner and drinks! I had the Barbecue Chicken Pizza, which was delicious! There are plenty of options available, including ribs, filet mignon, salmon, pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a full bar. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly!

Attentive staff, comfy seating, good draft beer selections, and a great happy hour!

Strong drinks: My favorite was the Moonridge, reasonably priced at $10. They also had Lagunitas on tap. Friendly service: The staff was quick and engaging. Live music: There was a fantastic musician performing live acoustic covers. He had a great song selection and an amazing voice, and the volume was just right. We were able to sing along to our favorites while still having a conversation. Beautiful ambiance: The decor was lovely, and you can dress up if you want. We saw everything from heels to flip-flops and polos to t-shirts. Come on in!

I went to watch the Notre Dame vs. USC game and I’m glad I chose this spot. It's a bit away from the crowded Big Bear Village, which is actually a plus. The modern decor gives it a nice vibe, and the portion sizes are generous. Despite it being a busy night, the service was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were outstanding. I had the Spicy Julio, a jalapeño-infused margarita, and it was spot on—I even recommended it to some people at a nearby table, and they loved it too. The Margarita Pizza was fantastic, and the sweet potato appetizer was just right. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next trip to Big Bear.
