The Old German Deli - Big Bear Lake

Seriously the best German food ever! This is my favorite German place to eat about in the big Bärensee! Please go here to get the best German food and great owners and family businesses! Can eat inside or outside. Has everything a German place could and should have!

The first time here and I got a whole beef Kraut dog it was amazing! The potato salad was delicious! And the desserts I am not sure what they were called, but they were delicious, we got a kind of Bavarian cream cake and a kind of Horshoe Amaretto almond tasty tasty delicious dessert! The people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place!

Not only is the food delicious, but you just can't beat the kindness of the owners. I love how the whole family is involved and they really seem to care about each other and the customers. You can also get a sample of any meat you want to try. The price for a sandwich can appear a bit high until you think it serves a huge sandwich with a pimple wedge, a half boiled egg and potato salad. I brought my sandwich. Next time, I intend to get the sour wort. I had a few of my husband and it was so good! Definitely the best deli in town.

The word for this deli is amazing! We order a sandwich (which came with potato salad in German style). Could be one of the best sandwiches we had! The people there were friendly and helpful. Would go back to Big Bear next time!
