Upon returning to Northport, MI we decided to end a wonderful trip from North Carolina with some Mediterranean food. Nawals was absolutely superb! We thoroughly enjoyed Moroccan Chicken recommended by our irrepressible, sunny waiter C.J. . The aromatics ushered in a complex, medley of ingredients bathed in a savory secret nawal sauce: carrots, apricots, onions, raisins, almonds. Just when I thought I was in heaven saffron rice beckoned! Sublime... A fattoush salad with a delicate dressing was perfect. The interior was nicely appointed with booths. Egyptian murals. Warm earth tones, nice, rich finishes and a bar in the rear. Service was impeccable. CJ had a warm, disarming, playful personality. Made the entire dining experience unforgettable. We will return! Nawal is a superb chef, and her restaurant a GEM.

I recently stopped in at Nawal 's Mediterranean Eatery, Gourmet Cupcakes and Dessert for a late lunch with a friend, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. We ordered Nawal 's famous Moroccan Chicken with a side of 'Happy Trees ' (steamed broccoli), and I have to say, if heaven was ever served in a bowl, this would be it! The Moroccan Chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Morocco. The side of steamed broccoli, affectionately called 'Happy Trees, ' was fresh, crisp, and complemented the main dish beautifully. The attention to detail in every aspect of our meal was evident, and it made for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall ambiance made our lunch feel special. I highly recommend Nawal 's to anyone looking for an authentic and mouth-watering Mediterranean meal. I can 't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings!

Best gyro I've ever had. We stopped here on a road trip. The staff was very friendly and we all enjoyed our food. I recommend the lamb gyro and hibiscus tea.

Nawal offered a wonderful Valentine's event. Great dinner, great music, and a red rose. It was a truly delightful evening. And birthday celebrations here are great! It was a night of bellydance entertainment and everyone danced! The cupcakes were delicious.
