Moroldo's Fine Italian - BIGFORK

Cleaning up the mess took some time, which I didn't mind too much, but by the time it was done, my beer had gone lukewarm. I didn't receive any offer for a fresh, cold beer. Instead, a new Shirley Temple was brought for my granddaughter along with another iced tea for my son-in-law. After waiting an hour and having to ask for the warm sliced bread that was supposed to be served, we finally received our dinner. Everything looked good, except it wasn’t what my daughter had ordered. Nevertheless, she chose to eat it anyway.

This restaurant is truly exceptional. Everything we had was delicious, including the wine recommended by our fantastic waitress. It might just be the best meal I’ve ever experienced. The only downside was the piano music, which was a bit too loud.

Fortunate enough to be working in Bigfork Montana from out of state, I was impressed by the quality of the restaurants open during my visit. I would admit that my experience in every one of the restaurants was noteworthy and I would recommend several of them; but I found Moroldo's Ristorante Italiano to be in a league of its own. The perfection of the food was amplified by the extraordinary quality of service and the humanity of the owners who were solicitous and gracious in the elegant European tradition. This dining experience in this most beautiful of settings is not to be missed.
