Unbelievable. we came for the coffee, but at the end we also bought a charming ceramic-nickel dish.
This is an absolute gem in a nice town on the A702. Coming from the south and west to reach Edinburgh, you should choose this route and plan a snack or lunch at The Olive Tree Deli. Parking is plentiful. Prices are very reasonable and a charcuterie plate was excellent with high quality meats and well chosen cheeses. Don't drive through Biggar. Stop and if you visit only one place make it The Olive Tree Deli.
Amazing little café. Great coffee, pastries, food to go and a shop. All in one. The owners are lovely and great to chat to.
It's been some time since we last visited The Olive Tree, but today we thoroughly enjoyed fresh, beautifully presented baguettes and the most delicious coffee. We were warmly greeted by the smiling owners, who clearly have a passion for the preparation and presentation of their food. My wife, Wendy, particularly loved the face masks being sold, created by a talented local artisan.
