Cobetas Cervecera - Bilbao

The menu here is vast but sadly the food isn’t good, I assume it is all pre cooked and reheated because it was served so fast, and wasn’t very pleasant. It’s self service and you are given your own table cloth, then you collect you cutlery. The lady serving the food was lovely and very helpful, but the bar staff were not very polite. Only go for a drink would be our advice.

It is not your typical pintxos, gourmet place. Honest food by an honest price. And yummy. Recommende roast chicken. Really good! The place is kind of self service, you order food at a counter, another one the drinks, then you take your stuff, sit at one of the many tables available and enjoy.

Chicken is juicy and tasty, french fries are frozen but they fry them properly in clean oil. Green peppers are avoidable even during seasonal time (Summer). Chorizo a la sidra is okay. Nice desserts including a few homemade. Good beer and coffee. A place to go in group and to enjoy their outside tables and views of the city.

Pollo recalentado. Hemos sido clientes de toda la vida y ahora solo merece la pena ir a tomar algo en la terraza. La comida nefasta, solomillo y entrecot duros y sin sabor. Niños corriendo por el restaurante…
