Feedback gevenAfter a couple days of trying to find someplace for dinner before 800 pm we were lucky to find Saltmonk. We were able to get a table at 530 pm. Service was very good. We shared a Salad and then each ordered an entry (Lasagna and Papperdelle with Gorgonzola). Realized once food came that we could have gotten away with a split entrée but both dishes were very good. With Bread and three glasses of wine, water and an espresso bill was just over €50.00. Would go again either here or to their partner next door Coppola but leaving Bilbao tomorrow.
Glutenfree options here. In my opinion the best Italian restaurant in town. Some fine (jazz and smooth) music also (not too loud)! I recommend the risotto De la tierra y el mar. Outstanding. Too much even.
As two vegetarians wandering in the abyss of tortilla patata in Bilbao, we really wanted a decent plate of pasta. I wanted FF to be nice, friendly service, great sound track, nice wine but then the pasta. Pasta arrabiata was cited on the menu as having a fresh and spicy tomato sauce but it arrived with what looked like two tins of tomatos. The pasta was swimming in thick, intense sauce, really not great. A primavera salad was ordinary, with pretty cheap black olives. FF needs to concentrate, in a city packed with restaurants it can't afford to be this sloppy.
Perfecto como siempre. Todos los productos de buena calidad y siempre rico. No fallas con este restaurante. Si me permiten un área de mejora: A mi que me encanta el dulce, reconozco que ningún postre de los de la carta me atrae, pero es un gusto personal. Añadir algún postre más estaría genial.
La comida de gran calidad, como siempre, la atención muy agradable. El problema de esta visita ha sido el tiempo de cocina. Hemos tratado más de una hora en comer para 3 platos compartidos. Por lo demás, genial, como siempre
