Una vez más de 10,tanto la atención como la cena,se ve la calidad al instante.Buena localización y buen sitio para aparcar.
The best fish restaurant I´ve ever been to I think! Located right near the beach. Parking is a bit difficult but there´s a large carpark nearby.
This summer was the 5th time I have eaten here and again I am impressed how well the Basque can cook! Perfection! The Basque area is proud of their traditions and cuisine which is not surprising because quite simply, it is superior to many other areas. Fish is the focus of the menu here, however all meat dishes are also delicious! This is very typical of the costal Basque area the one difference is the quality and preparation of the produce, is outstanding! They have a good choice of wines to compliment the food and the prices are fair! The seating capacity of the restaurant itself is not so numerous but this is complimented with a terrace. Therefore reservations are a must, but it is worth it! If one is impressed with ‘fancy places’ then perhaps not for you. If one wants to have delicious food then this is the place!! One word of caution… for vegetarians…. It would perhaps not be your first choice!
We spent a week in the area and nearly all restaurants have the same menu this is no exception, no real salads, no vegetables with main course except green peppers and potatoes..... This place has a very busy terrace at the front and a dark corridor at the back that is the restaurant. It has no natural light so is a bit uncomfortable but has modern decoration. The menus is basically protein and carbohydrate steaks and chips, fish and potatoes. Quality is good but selection is so limited it doesn't actually matter which restaurant you go to, they all offer the same one can only assume that's what the locals want but even my husband (who is a local) even got bored by the end of the week. We asked for a salad and got lettuce and tomatoes. When most of the fruit and veg sold in Europe is from Spain why is it that non of it gets onto the menus in the Basque country? Puddings... rice pudding, French toast, cheese cake why not fruit salad, strawberries, pineapple???
