Feedback gevenI keep it short and sweet, taste, presentation, atmosphere and staff make this a must to Billings. For many people who today are presumed to be afraid of the word Vegan, no meat is not a taste. This is not the case, nor the attitude you have t'words food. The holding of taste and care they create in all the dishes they are not less than exquisite. From someone like me who took veganism two years ago, this facility will satisfy your hunger and awaken your taste buds. I am looking forward to going back to try the next creation that I will certainly satisfy many, including me. Thank you for the amazing experience and to go against the norm, which today improves standards. from my family to yours you have a customer for life and wish you all the best on your food efforts.
I had the Mediterranean pizza and it was so good. Very high quality and so delicious. I am from the city and had honestly low expectations of vegan food in Billings, but I was impressed. Her grilled cheese sandwich special was also so good, but the part was small. I would definitely recommend Grotto
Overpriced for the portion size. Service was very friendly, told us they didn’t have avocados that were ripe enough to serve (so we were unable to order the Osaka bowl, which sounded yummy). We ordered the Mediterranean pizza, Vietnamese Pho, and a glass of Açaí kombucha. Five stars for the Mediterranean pizza— it was delicious! Loved the pumpkin seed crust. Adding $2 for a couple of cherry tomatoes and pine nuts seemed a little steep. I wouldn’t order the Pho again. It was okay. They forgot to bring bean sprouts and jalapeños, and when we asked for it, they returned with alternative sprouts. They explained that the mung bean sprouts weren’t fresh enough to serve. The alternative sprouts were great, just wish we didn’t have to ask for them. Kombucha on tap is a nice touch. However, $8 for a glass was double the price I would have expected to pay for kombucha. The ambience is more like a lounge. There is plenty of bar seating, and a big couch (which you can’t order food from). We sat at the few tables in the front of the restaurant. It seemed like we were the only ones dining on a Tuesday evening at 7:15. I really wanted to give this place more stars, since it’s hard to find good vegetarian/vegan options.
The interior design of Grotto feels like it should be a cocktail lounge rather than a taproom, with music that is more suitable for downtown Honalulu than the downtown Billings. It's decor seems deliberate, out of place, full of contradictions... And I love it. At the grotto, it is easy to get caught in the fun and enjoy yourself. With its all-vegan menu and a wide range of excellent kombuchas, its one of the more fun foodie experiences in Billings
Really loved the ambience and the building itself. The drinks were exquisitely designed and the visits themselves worth. But I also had a delicious brunch. The food was fresh, tasty, creative, full of exciting ingredients and beautifully decorated. Seems very new, so the grotto can have a few tiny kinks to work in the service and decor, but I will definitely see again that these elements develop as I mean through all Bevarge and food options.
