I arrived around 12, and every table was full, which I take as a good sign. Thankfully, an elderly gentleman let me sit at his large table since we both were dining alone. I ordered hot tea, water, Kim bop, and #27. I didn't know the dishes came with 4 sides of kimchee, so I was very full by the end of my meal! Regarding the food, it was freshly prepared. I enjoyed the flavors of the kimchee. Normally, I can't handle spice at all, but my meal was not overpowered by the spices and paired nicely with the Kim bop. The portions were large and meals affordable. This would be a great spot for friends! Finally, our waitress was extremely kind and quick. I did not feel rushed, and I felt taken care of.
Pretty good but I wish the menu clearly explained what came with the dish, IE, could I have substituted some kind of flat noodle for the white rice, also, did not want any of the pickled vegetables which I also didn't know it came with.
There are only two Korean restaurants I know of in the gulf and this is one of them. As someone raised by a Korean mother, I can vouch that the food here is authentic and made like how all Korean mothers would cook for their family. It’s a cozy taste of home.
If you are a fan of Korean foods, definitely check out this place. 10/10 imo.
