I really, really dig this place. Apparently Wild Game Co. has a couple of locations but this one just opened a couple months back on Charlotte Street. I walked by it quite a few times over the course of the month, because before the put a massive deer outside the door it was frankly easy to miss. But i'm so glad a co worker and I decided to pop in for lunch one day. Service: Just so amazing. I had never had stovies before and after asking up front, was offered a sample before trying. They were delicious and highly recommended. I just recently revisited for a second time and when checking out was recognised by the staff they seem to take a LOT of pride in the quality of meat and food and appreciate talking about it, sharing it, and remembering who they shared with. Can't beat that! Food: A+. As I mentioned the stovies are delicious, side of beef dripping fries lovely and burgers WOW. I know London has definitely upped it's Burger game but, hands down, if you are in the neighbourhood and choosing between Wild Game Co. and the newly opened BOBO you won't want to miss this. I've been to BOBO a couple times and have been quite disappointed in the blandness of the burger in taste yes, even the peanut butter one but Wild Game Co's Venison was bursting with flavour. And i'm not normally a burger person! The price point is good for the area and finally, excitingly for me, they also operate as a butcher so if you wanna grab some meat on your way home you can get it fresh there. Definitely worth a lunchtime or casual dinner visit if you're in the area!
