Blumberg Hotel - BIRDWOOD

This restaurant serves the smallest beef schnitzel in the world, topped with a garlic Diane sauce.

The food was average, but the plates had not been heated so our meals started to go cold very quickly. The small electric heater in the dining room was useless. Avoid this place on cold days. We might visit again, but won't rush to do so. Ordinary pub grub.

Excellent Sat lunch, while visiting the Holden museum. We all had Snitties with various toppings. Meals were very generous, fresh and well priced. Go there for lunch.!!

We ordered takeaway dinner from here while we were staying opposite at the Birdwood Motel (we didn't feel like eating out as we were tired from cycling 53km from Tanunda). We both ordered Chicken Schnitzel, which were massive! The chicken was really tasty and we loved the Blumberg topping, which includes Hollandaise and asparagus that made for a really different taste sensation. Chips were crispy, and it came with a nice salad. Would definitely eat here again. Excellent location if you're visiting the National Motor Museum, it's right opposite.
