Another Broken Egg Cafe - Birmingham

We had some issues getting a table- we had a large party, for sure (around 15), but it took well over an hour and a half to find adequate seating. The food was pretty good, which is normal for this restaurant.

Establishment is closer from the one in Auburn, Alabama. Nice folks but they were shorthanded. Usually, great breakfast but this time around the eggs were warm, potatoes cold, and slow all around. I hope to go back at a later time. Call ahead to be placed on the wait list.

My wife and I stopped in for a bite and this was perhaps our first visit in a decade or so. We were both surprised by the number of dishes with chorizo. I checked my phone and remembered this is a chain so I guess that is the reason. Neither of us liked the coffee and her **** Mary was nothing special. Both of our meals were average but the menu had few items we were interested in. Fair enough, everyone has different tastes.

Very nice and attentive service... great service...

The food was great! In a very walkable area of town.
