Hardee's - Birmingham

I've visited this restaurant several times before without any problems. However, today I went through the drive-thru and encountered some issues. When it was my turn, the staff asked for my order, which I gave them—just two double cheeseburgers, nothing complicated. About 20 seconds later, they asked me again for my order, and I repeated it. After another 15 or 20 seconds, I was asked yet again, "Sorry, what was your order again?" I repeated it slowly, loudly, and clearly, as I have a typical Midwestern accent and no speech impediments. I had observed the two cars ahead of me place their orders without any trouble. After another 15 seconds, the same voice asked for my order once more. At that point, I decided to leave. If you can't understand it after three attempts, there's no reason to believe you would get it on the fourth. I'll take my business elsewhere, to a place that knows how to listen.

The lady who served me was new, but she was very nice. Despite still learning, she got my order right, and the food was fresh!

I used the mobile app to place my order, but the lobby was closed, so I had to go through the drive-thru, where I ended up waiting for over 15 minutes. They were very short-staffed.

I went to this location at 9:30 a.m. The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building, so I parked to go in. The lobby door was locked. I called, to see if they were open, and the employee just said, we're here and the lobby's closed. Why would youclose the lobby at that time of the morning and not even post a sign on the door? Not good.

Always enjoy Hardee's. This one's close by and that makes it special! They have been very good since they opened. Reminds me of the old Hardee's from many years ago. Customer first and happy. I promise this will drive customers to return over and over.It has/will happened to this one!
