Iron City Pizza Company - Birmingham

Sat at the bar as I was traveling alone, good service. Interesting thing is they have wine from a tap. I wasn't pleased with the beer choices (personal preference, I hate IPA) but they make a really good blood orange margarita. Pizza was good, nice flavor, but not over the top exceptional, but of course few are.

Great pizza spot! Wait staff were really nice and even let us turn on the game we wanted to watch! Very friendly and conversational as we sat at the bar, and all of the food was great. The focaccia was great and all of the pizzas we tried we really enjoyed. We will be returning!

This review started with 5 stars because of the attentive all around good wait staff, the solid beer selection, and the interesting pizza options. In the end, I decided that the review of a pizza place should weigh the pie pretty high. The in-house pickled jalapenos were sweet, tangy, hot, delicious and were provided as a free sample We ordered 2 medium pies. The Arrington Arugula, a white sauce pizza with fresh arugula was good but not exciting and the flavor was dominated

Great local spot with friendly staff and delicious food. The cheesy garlic focaccia bread was fantastic, and the owner/bartender went over the top to provide fun conversation and great information about the menu. Prices are fair and portions are large. We had the jalapeño honey pizza with white sauce and the supreme pizza with red sauce, both are delicious. Highly recommend this local gem in the Five Points area.
