Original Pancake House - Birmingham

I was in Birmingham, AL, on a business trip and discovered this fantastic breakfast spot near my hotel. The food and service were outstanding. The omelet was absolutely delicious. I was excited to find out that we have an Original Pancake House in Denver too. Thank you, Original Pancake House Birmingham!

The best blueberry pancakes I've ever had, not just in Alabama, but anywhere! We make it a point to eat here every time we visit Birmingham. The menu is extensive! Definitely go for the pancakes! This place is extremely popular, so you might have to wait, but it's absolutely worth it. The friendly staff manages everything with a smile!

I’m always excited to discover a great breakfast spot while traveling, and this place definitely fit the bill. It had that classic pancake house vibe and did not disappoint. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes along with a side of sausage, and both arrived hot and delicious. The coffee was great too!

Wow! This trendy spot in Birmingham is an excellent choice for a delicious breakfast, especially if you're looking to avoid the usual chains. Parking can be a bit tricky, but the trick is to use the paid parking lot around the corner, located behind the Jimmy John's sandwich shop. The pancake restaurant has a small kiosk at the entrance where you enter your license plate, and they will validate your parking for two hours. Keep in mind that it can get quite busy, and my food was slightly cool when it arrived, but they quickly took care of it. I highly recommend this local gem!
