Tortugas Pizza - Birmingham

Not sure where to start....Got a 14 Hawaiian pizza to go for $36, really???Yes, I had one additional topping, so what.Quality and price of the pizza was not my expectation evenif the pizza would have tasted awesome.

We’ve been craving a Tortugas Chicago style, carne, add mushrooms and fresh garlic. Our pizza was one of the best ones we’ve had in a long time. It was so worth the hour and 15 minute, bad traffic, drive home from work to go by and pick one up.

How do you give 10 stars? Hands down the best deep dish pizza I have ever had. Had lunch with a friend here and had a slice of the Carne special….a single slice is a whole meal. Easy parking, nice staff, great service, go for the deep dish, it’s just amazing!

My wife and I enjoy the food along with great service!

Best pizza this side of the Mississippi!! Family owned and operated and everyone is so sweet and just absolutely amazing! My husband and I come here once a year for Valentine's Day.
