Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Birmingham

I would argue that I am one of the biggest Tropical Smoothie fanatics out there. Coming from Florida, where locations are everywhere, it has been an adjustment living where there are only a few. Just the news alone that a new location was coming closer to me was enough to get me excited. Today was my first time visiting the new location and it couldn?t have been a better experience. I placed an online order and it was ready and waiting when I arrived. The staff was very kind and engaging and it was everything I had hoped for in this new location. To top it all off, my Triple Berry Oat with peanut butter and no Splenda was the best I?ve ever had. I will surely be back!! Again and again and again.

My first trip to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe and WOW WHAT A TREAT! The food was fresh and delicious! The smoothie was refreshing and zapped me straight to the beach with white sand, a lounge chair with an umbrella covering me from the suns rays ! Thank you Alysia for your Hospitality! Didn't like the Caprese Chicken sandwich and asked for my money back for it. Was told there was no manager and no way to get a refund. Took over 15 minutes to get another sandwich that was really not that good either. They even weren't making my replacement food until I went back to the couter to see what was taking so long. No communicatin and no care given to customer serivice. Will most likely just stay away.

Bad customer service. Extremely slow and rude. Food and smoothie is phenomenal though. I?ve went two mornings in a row and no one was there opening the building. Open at 8am, waited until 8:15 and no service.

Good selection of smoothies, made on order. Consistent texture while drinking it, they feel very refreshing and natural. 1 star down, just because if you do not know about the area a stop and go is only if you order ahead of time not on the store. This place gets very busy due to how good they are.
