I can't say with confidence, but I think it was because of this meal that I liked an annoyed for a few days. we ordered approx. 6 dishes under 6 people and their servings were just enough. her huh seemed like it was precooked and then just dumped in what sauce/rice/nudels/Starter we ordered. the ambiente is good if they like the taste of eating.
My partner and I were visiting London for the day and decided to give Chung Ying Garden a try for some dim sum. We ordered shanghai dumplings, chicken feet in black bean sauce, cheng fun, and char sui buns. The service was lacking, but this is typically expected at a Chinese restaurant. Overall, the food was good.
The dining experience is excellent, and the service is top-notch. While it can get pretty crowded at times, the quality of the service and food never wavers.
I had an outstanding lunch at this restaurant. The venison wrapped in paper was beautifully prepared, and the yuk sung was the best I have ever had. Thank you.
Don’t expect anything fancy. Chung Ying Garden’s regulars presumably head there because of the menu, rather than the decor, which is a bit plain and harsh. The music is more interesting – Chinese pop songs play in the background, while on our visit the restaurant was full of Chinese people as well, always a good sign pointing to authenticity.
