The whole experience was fantastic from excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff to fantastic value for money. The food was excellent I had ribs, fish and chips passion fruit tart and the portions were just right. The ambience was amazing with a pianist playing for most of the afternoon. We didn’t want to leave the place and ended up staying from 12 6pm. Would definitely recommend this place and I will be returning very soon.
Firstly confusion when I called to amend my booking reference which menu we could order from. Breakfast and Brunch is the same online but the staff member was adamant Brunch could only be bottomless! Service was appalling, drinks orders confused and 8 breakfasts took nearly 1 hour to prepare, in a nearly empty restaurant. All poached eggs were over and had to return one breakfast as toast was charcoal black! Ordered juices, all were undrinkable, barman commented only 1st time he had made them! Ignored by waiting staff not asked if we wanted refills etc, just a really rubbish experience and ruined my nieces bday brunch!
We do love the food here normally... but we the fish burger was pretty below their normal standard. Well done (black) dry roll... coleslaw was not the best either... We just thought it was no where near worth £13.50... for essentially a fish finger sandwich that was well done and dry (2 of us ordered the same)! A little disappointed as their sunday roasts are nice! Could be a nice off.... maybe saturday evenings are not the best time!
Stunning setting, great quality good and excellence service.
Modern restaurant with a comfy atmosphere. The chicken wings are brilliant
