I enjoyed my eating! beautiful portions for the money and I would go to say the carvery is much better than most around also the service was on point very warm and welcoming! Keep the good workers up! my new favorite goes to the place

Had a fantastic evening here for my nephew 19th birthday with just family, had the back room so was comfortable to laugh and spend time together to celebrate him, food was served promptly and everyone had different meals and all thoroughly enjoyed them no complaints, guy who served us was so accommodating and friendly so would like to thank him personally for making our evening that little more special (sorry didn't get your name). We took pizza home that the kids couldn't eat all of which was great. Would definitely return and recommended to people it's such a beautiful building and beer garden

Recently revisited this place for a carvery and I have to say the standards have gone way up since a few years ago. Nothing was dry and everything tasted much fresher and cleaner than before. Our server Stacey was very polite and she was respectful with us. Hats off to all the staff for bringing up the standards.

When it came time to order breakfast, we requested a side of mushrooms and also inquired about a sausage sandwich for a child with us. Even though it wasn’t on the menu, Stacey kindly arranged it for him. A few minutes later, she came back to let us know that our food was ready. Our plates were filled with freshly cooked sausages, bacon, hash browns, and tomatoes. We also enjoyed fried bread, beans, breakfast pizza, and crispy pork cracklings. Stacey generously offered to guide the food to our table. She truly is a gem—so friendly, polite, helpful, and attentive. We devoured our breakfast and couldn’t find a single thing wrong. If we lived nearby, we’d go back tomorrow, but we will definitely return whenever we are in the area.

Came here on Fathers Day. Lack of Foresight meant I didn't book a table, but I can't stress enough how nice and accommodating the staff were. The Carvery especially was certainly amongst the best I've had in the city, and I'd love to give special props to the lady behind the bar Jackie. A lovely help amongst a very busy atmosphere. Very much looking forward to my next visit
