Feedback gevenMy partner and I discovered this place and we love him. the Sangria pitch is one! eating is quite decent, the portions might need an update, but apart from that it is a nice place love the fact that every waitress speaks Spanish.
The menu at Tapas Revolution is filled with Spanish classics, along with some specialties that make it a delightful experience for adventurous foodies. My meal included the following: Arroz Negro, a delicious dish featuring squid ink, shrimp, and squid; and Tortilla de Patatas, which is my favorite, although the classic Spanish omelette with potatoes could have been a bit softer for my taste. I also enjoyed Asitus Manzanilla, those lovely Andalusian green olives that pair well with everything you drink, and Pan de la Casa, which had a lovely flavor that seemed simple yet satisfying. I tried the Pazo de Mariñán Godello Treixadura Albariño, a beautiful white wine that complemented the black rice perfectly, as mentioned in the menu. While it’s not the cheapest meal you’ll find at a “train station,” when you consider the quality of the ingredients, the freshly prepared dishes, and the pleasant ambiance, I believe Tapas Revolution offers a fantastic Spanish culinary experience.
Unbelievable, I wasn't at tapas revolution before this visit. I don't know why; I love the food of Spain. in the act I have thought about now, I was not in one of the Spanish restaurants in birmingham (bar the excellent el borracho pop on 1000 trades.) I am a scandal. I'm holding my head in shame. that means that I can not compare tapas revolution directly with his local competition, but what I can do is tell them that it transported me back to valencia, where the food and wine are plentiful. oh, and the owner omar is dishonest. it's little wonder they have his face everywhere.
Shopping centers and railway stations are typically not known for great dining options. However, if I'm being honest, the food selections at Grand Central over Birmingham New Street Station are far from your average mall eateries. One standout is Tapas Revolution, the creation of Omar Allibhoy, a Spanish celebrity chef and a former alumni of El Bulli. This vibrant restaurant is centrally located in Grand Central, with its open kitchen filling the air with enticing aromas. I had the chance to visit a few weeks ago and decided to bring along Vicky from Brumderland for a blogger date.
I won't delve into my initial impressions of Tapas Revolution, but I will say it wasn't very positive. My meal was disappointing and fell short of the expectations set by what I had heard about Omar Allibhoy, the prominent figure in Spanish cuisine associated with Gordon Ramsay. That was a year ago, when Tapas Revolution opened alongside several other businesses in the massive launch of Grand Central. Since then, I've heard that they have found their footing, with improved ingredient quality and more consistent execution coming from the open kitchen.
