Ten Ichi - Birmingham

We chose this restaurant for sushi since I haven't really tried much other Japanese food yet. The presentation was amazing; that little boat display was stunning. The menu featured clear descriptions of the dishes along with pictures, making it easier for customers to make their choices. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very quick. The indoor ambiance was nice, cozy, and somewhat exotic. The sushi mix was fantastic, especially for someone like me who wants to try a variety without spending too much. I have to admit that not all of it was to my liking, but I enjoyed most of it. Overall, it's a great place, and I would definitely recommend it if you're in Birmingham and looking for Japanese cuisine!

The menu is quite extensive, and I was curious about how they keep it all together. While some dishes were exquisite, others fell short of expectations. The strong smell of frying oil lingered on our clothes long after we left. The service wasn't stellar either. Despite these issues, I still find myself craving their tempura vegetables. They offer a good variety of sushi dishes at reasonable prices, and their food looks fantastic in photos.

I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size of the ramen. The staff were friendly, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We requested sparkling water but were served still water instead. Although sparkling water is listed on the menu, it seems they don't actually stock it, which is a bit unusual since it's fairly common for restaurants to offer it.

The food was nice and fresh. Full of flavours and great presentation. The staff was welcoming and quick service. Great atmosphere too.

Fancied some Japanese food and this was the closest to where I was with good reviews. Absolutely beautiful food with lovely service. The restaurant is so calm and really clean too. One of my favourite and best places I've eaten at in a very long time. Thank you.
