At the crossroads of Broad Street and Gas Street this is the first place you see when you approach Brindley Place from town. While I would say there is...
No complaints. Decent breakfast and coffee for 6# at 11am. Nice rustic interior, music is new age.
I booked here, over a month ago, for a Saturday night in December. We were a family party of 12 and went to a concert at the arena. We paid £30 deposit and had confirmation of the booking. When we arrived on the night, it was very busy and there were no visible tables(in which we booked). When speaking to a lady who worked there, she said ‘somebody else was sat on our table’ and refused to talk to us again. A ‘manager’ then said that the kitchen was closed(despite us booking in for food) because of a delivery mix up. I asked the manager why we were not alerted of this beforehand-especially because we travelled over 30 miles. During all of these happening, our party began to order drinks so we stayed for a drink. However for the duration of this time, food was continuously being served. So why were we turned away, when we prebooked?
WOW, what a superb pub at the heart of Broad Street! Just popped in with friends for a drink after work, greeted by Chris the Manager who made us feel so welcome. The team were just as friendly behind the bar, the pub was decorated fully for Christmas and felt so warm and welcoming. Great range of cask ales to choose from too. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed for food too, the fish and chips were spot on! Well done to everyone at the Brasshouse, a true gem on Broad Street
