I love Indian cuisine and read the menu with glee, all looked good, different and very affordable. I said to my wife: “If only ours take, just around the corner” was such a thing. Anyway, I picked up my lunch and ready to turn off for narborough. my wife then picked up the flyer to meet her choice. Then she left a loud “oh” what, I asked, she told me the amazing news that maharaja opened on watergate lane. wow. tonight was the big night, made my choices, standard for such a big test) chicken jalfrezi, madras hot, mushroom bhaji, mushroom piclau riceis. I had made my own home chapatti so none of them needed and that judged, super, amazing and about the time too. the order app needed a tweet that they immediately made and eating was as close as possible perfect. I'm back.
It is nice to see the Indian tor from the old people, and who entered the trade men to get into the indies
Had a great chicken kebab with a fantastic naan. it was not sure that it was prepared on the back because I like to see what happened to my food, but when I got home food, the salat was good and spicy mint was great. Yoghurt was too sweet for my pleasure. kebab was good and at a reasonable price.
We loved eating from this place in when we lived in leicester. we had taken a little while last week during our stay in leicester, the food quality has deteriorated in quality and taste deterioration
I rarely write any reviews but I had to on this instance, I ordered Saag (Spinach), Lamb Karai, rice and Garlic Naans, order came very promptly leading to concern. Saag was tasteless, didn't look like traditional Punjabi Saag, I couldn't eat it and...left it. Lamb dish, lamb pieces were very tuff and chewy, there was far too much oil in the dish, I left this also, way too much you can taste it. Naans were not fresh, very rubbery, can't taste garlic, did not taste fresh, it was pre prepared, and in mins to deliver it, it shows it's not fresh at all, Please go back to basics, if I order food I expect it to be made freshly for me, I would not order again, in this day and age with businesses closing every day. Why not just be simple and tasty and maintain your customer base Btw I'm Punjabi and cook Indian every week.
