Not good... salad was lettuce with dressing...haddock was rubbery and way over cooked, husband 's catfish tasted like mud....will be seeking elsewhere...
This was my father's favorite place for steak when I was growing up. Wonderful to see it continues to thrive!
Sorry but the owners have retired and closed down the restaurant . I would recommend the Whistle Inn Nichols Wisconsin
It's all on what you go in expecting.... The place is kind of dark, nothing fancy..... But if that's what your worried about when you go in for food your in the wrong place, but if you want a awesome piece of tenderloin and lobster tail, this is by far the place to go for a very reasonable price. Terry is a very nice guy always walking around checking on people, bartender is nice if she knows you, and the kids they have running the food you can tell are trying hard. Only piece of advice is to know the steaks come one level under what you ask for so know that when ordering. This has been this way for the 30 years I have been coming here. Rather send it back than have a over cooked steak flopped in from of you right? Enjoy! Hope this helped!
