Waves at Blackhead - BLACK HEAD

Ok the reviews were mixed and we know the local shopping centre has good food but we wanted to give it a try. When our 2 coffees and the cheeseburger was delivered it looked less than exciting BUT the coffee was pretty good and the burger might have looked simple (it was) but the pattie was tasty and filling. Across the road from the beach and plenty of seating options. Not as bad as some of the reviews suggest.

After going for a bush walk we dropped in for coffee and a muffin.I remember this shop as being a takeaway and general store and was nicely surprised that it has become more of a cafe.It has seating inside and out and what better place to have a cuppa and cake than here with this spectacular view.

I come here often for my takeaway in the area. The staff are friendly and it is always quick service. Prices are reasonable. Nice average place to get fish, chips, kebabs etc.

Good for fish and chips and burgers and ice-cream. Coffees not good. Can sit inside or outside across from the beach, or get takeaway and wander over the road to the grassed area behind the beach.

We ate here a few times during a stay at Hallidays Point for a week. We had burgers and fish and chips. Great little venue. Has some seating out the front, but you can order out to each on the beach or on the grass nearby. Not a lot of competition but a good little place serving traditional milk bar fare. Would definitely go again.
