The Black River Inn - Black Torrington

I had an incredible Sunday dinner here with my wonderful friends! Alex Gill was an amazing host, as always. The roast lunch plate and desserts prepared by chef Richard were fantastic. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We dined here last night for the first time since the ownership change, and we were impressed! They’ve done an excellent job with the new, vibrant menu and the updated space. I highly recommend this place and will certainly return. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We had just a very nice meal in the gasthof. scallops to begin, which were exceptionally served with pork that melted in the mouth. followed by the sirloin steak, which had beautiful crispy tweeping instead of swirling rings and nicely cooked steak. definitiw will return. well done for all their hard work

Nice new owners with some great ideas, offering a delightful atmosphere. It's a great pub.
