Warning to drivers Reminder to everyone parking in the carpark put your car registration in the pub or face £100 fine (even if can prove had spent a period of time spending money in the pub). Have been coming for years but this was the last visit.

This place was absolutely despicable from the moment I walked in, we went with some friends ftom the rugby club and we will never go again , the food was cold and awful plus they need to learn some manners , do rude and arrogant

3 of us had a really nice meal here one Friday tea time.The pub was quite busy at 4pm which means the beer is good.The food was lovely, proper pub food and nothing fancy--just really good value for money home cooked food.Good prices too.Would recomend.

Great value and chef considerate to make meals meet customers wishes, good service too. Nice cost traditional pub.

Popped in for a light bite lunch 2 of us shared a chicken ceasar sandwich with small fries. Really really tasty. Service great, although this is a 'proper ' hotel with rooms the bar and restaurant are set up like a gastro pub. Couldn 't fault it. We did stay here one night couple of years ago and it the comments book was Noddy Houlder of Slade who had recently stayed there comment : 'Keep on rocking '.
