Wetherspoons The Old Chapel

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and I have to commend the staff, as well as the delicious food and drinks. The fish is always cooked perfectly and the curries are excellent. The breakfast options are plentiful and the prices are unbeatable. The building is lovely and the toilets are kept super clean. Overall, this restaurant is doing a great job and I hope they continue to keep up the good work.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for breakfast and we each had a sausage sandwich, which was delicious and piping hot. The coffee was also excellent, as always!

I visited this restaurant today, and every aspect of the experience was terrible from start to finish. The temperature inside was freezing, the ordering app wasn't functioning, there were no bottles of wine available for purchase, the menus were dirty, the staff seemed unhappy, and the food was below average. There were loud and rude customers, some of whom appeared to be intoxicated and smelling of urine. Additionally, there were families with screaming babies present. To make matters worse, the power went out at one point, but the staff failed to communicate what was happening. The manager was unfriendly and did not provide any apologies or explanations for the poor service. I felt sorry for the young employees who seemed to be struggling without proper support. The restaurant was not clean, and overall it seemed like they only cared about taking customers' money. I will not be returning and would advise others to stay away.

Visited here today on a stop off on the way to Ewood Park. Absolutely stunning building both inside and out but my goodness the staff are a miserable lot. The young girls on shift today looked bored and miserable and were very off hand almost...bordering on rude when spoken to. Drinks and food ordered via the app which were both served wrongly with not a word said just tray plonked on table with drinks no interaction at all. Girls moaning between themselves about shifts at Christmas all within our earshot and which quite spoiled our visit. Please educate these miserable young ladies in customer care

Visited Wetherspoons in Darwen tonight and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, we ordered classic sirloin steak, which when it arrived on a big blue plate, looked lost just a plain steak and a jacket potato, the steak was just gristle all...the way through, what a waste of money, I had the chicken jalfrezi which was ok, but only just, the size has been reduced, we had to come home to get something to eat, NEVER again, and we used to enjoy Wetherspoons.
