The decor is quite minimal and the high chairs could use some improvement as they are uncomfortable. However, the owner is a really nice guy, and you can enjoy a full breakfast, including tea and two slices of toast, for just five pounds! They also played some great tunes while we dined.
I visited today with my partner, our two children, and my mother-in-law. The staff was very welcoming and even accommodated our picky son with a meal from the menu. We found the prices to be reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. The food was served hot and was delicious. We also appreciated the variety of options on the menu, including an extensive breakfast selection! The only drawback was the lack of facilities for young children; there were no high chairs or changing tables. However, since our baby is 19 months old, she was able to sit in a regular chair, so it wasn't a major issue for us.
"It's definitely worth a visit, even if you're not vegan! The full breakfast is good, but I'll definitely ask them to grill the hash browns next time since they were a bit too greasy. The tofu cube is outstanding and could easily be a meal by itself, especially when paired with toast. I would give it five stars, but I had one oily, bread-like coffee experience, and a few times I called when it said they were open on Google but didn't get an answer."
