Big Al's Sports Bar - Blacksburg

I did not come with high expectations for the food, after all when I hear about Big Al's, I hear about it as a bar.

This place has gone way down hillHere on game day and they are out of 4 of 6 of draftsPlace is filthy,service is slow and kitchen is rediculous.

Went here when visiting a friend and the atmosphere was fun but the bouncer Matt (big guy with a long beard) acted unlike any bouncer I've ever seen.

Great staff, great food, free swimming pool and the cheapest happy hour in town, not to mention the best sushi in the city below stairs at Poor Billy's, which is halfway away on Wednesday! Definitely my favorite bar in town!

It was the best of times, it was the worst times, it was the age of wisdom and it was the age of foolishness. Thanks for Kelly Murphy in my life and birthday jäger best experiences of college in this place.
