Double Dragon - Blacksburg

I am thrilled to have discovered this restaurant. They were very accommodating to my gluten-free needs. Many of their dishes are available in gluten-free options, including the roasted rice, spring rolls, and white sauce. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are reasonable. It has been a long time since I have been able to enjoy Chinese cuisine whenever I please!

This was the best Chinese food we've had in Blacksburg. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly. The portions were large and packed well for takeout.

Double Dragon is not your typical sit-down restaurant. There are no servers, so you order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table. As a second generation Chinese American, my Chinese language skills are not as strong as a native speaker's, but I always try to speak Chinese when I'm at a Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, I felt belittled by the woman working the cash register, who made a point to comment on my poor Chinese skills. Despite this, I still ordered my food. My friend and I dined in, and we were the only customers in the restaurant. The food was mediocre, especially the dumplings which were small and bland. I wish I could say something more positive, but overall, I did not enjoy my experience at Double Dragon and will not be returning. Their menu includes dumplings, Chinese donuts, and beef stir fry.

The restaurant is good. The fried rice contains cabbage and the ribs are very fatty. The food is delicious.

The restaurant was dirty and the waitress did not greet us. She rushed us to order and became angry when I asked if they had sugar donuts. She came off as cocky and then went to the back where she and a man started speaking loudly in a language I didn't understand. They began laughing, which made me feel uncomfortable. I do not think I will be returning to this restaurant and I am hesitant to eat the food.
