El Rodeo - Blacksburg

The food is excellent, and the service is among the fastest I’ve ever encountered. I really enjoy coming here with my friends, and the staff are all very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant on a rainy day and found it to be clean and spacious. We were seated right away, and the chips and salsa arrived almost instantly along with the menus. The salsa had a fresh taste and just the right amount of heat. Our food came out surprisingly quickly, just about five minutes after we ordered! While the food was good, it wasn't particularly memorable; the rice was a bit on the dry side. Overall, I would definitely return!

Everyone is always nice here! They have fast service food is served hot! If you are looking for a quick tex mex in Blacksburg this is the place to be!

Overall, it was a decent experience. The restaurant was clean, and the service was attentive. The food was quite basic—nothing extraordinary, but acceptable. The margaritas, however, were a disappointment; they tasted like they were made from a mix rather than fresh lime juice. A suggestion for management: consider dimming the lights in the evening. The bright overhead lights made me feel rushed, rather than encouraging me to relax and enjoy another drink.

Very average spot for Mexican food and giant margs. The food is good, not amazing, but it does the job. The margaritas are cheap and strong and a good bang for your buck. My favorite is the quesadilla Texana that comes with 3 meats. In my college days it was definitely cheaper but now it's around $15. They also have redone the inside so it's more modern but I miss the old decor.
