Gaucho Brazilian Grille - Blacksburg

We always love dining at Groucho's. While it's on the pricier side, making it more suitable for special occasions, I can't think of a better place to spend your money. The quality is exceptional! It's rare for me to spend $100 on dinner for two, but Groucho's is absolutely worth every penny. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, it truly offers a fine dining experience! My husband ordered the à la carte steak, sausage, and zucchini, while I opted for the steak Stroganoff; both dishes were incredibly delicious. Paired with some unique drinks, our meal at Groucho's is certainly one we won't forget!

Outstanding food! This is my first experience with Brazilian food outside of a churrasqueria and it was amazing. Service was also excellent (Thanks Matt! The only downside was that the menu is a mess. It's like the written version of one of CharlieBrown's teachers talking. Big ups to Matt for helping us making sense of it.

The only drawback of this restaurant is the slow service from the staff when serving food. However, the food is truly excellent. The steaks are fantastic, and you can customize them well with various sides and additions. The ambiance inside is quite lively. The location is a bit tricky to find, as there aren’t many signs pointing the way, so it’s best to rely on maps for directions.

The restaurant is family-owned, and during my visits, I noticed the owners were always on-site, actively working. The bartender deserves special mention; he crafted the best Caipirinha I’ve ever tasted—it's a drink you simply must experience. Even in a time when finding good help can be challenging, Guacho's seems to have an abundance of exceptional staff. The place was bustling, yet everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. What truly stood out to me was their genuine smiles and engaging interactions with patrons—they clearly love what they do. With fantastic food and outstanding service, this review doesn’t even begin to capture the essence of Guacho's.

Blacksburg's best-kept secret has a lot to offer. The menu showcases the flavors of Brazil right in the NRV. An unassuming standout among Blacksburg's dining options, Gaucho delivers an incredible experience with its delicious food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. My favorite dish is the Estrogonofe, featuring creamy beef stroganoff, the most flavorful, salty rice I've ever tasted, and wonderfully crispy potato chips. You won’t regret paying a visit!
