Preston's - Blacksburg

Great eating and wonderful staff.

We enjoyed the pre-show dinner package which offers a limited menu with 3 entree options, salad, and dessert. The appetizers were a bit hard, but flavorful, and the portions were generous. However, the service was slow, with our drinks and salads arriving quite late and our entrees coming before we finished our salads. The biggest disappointment was missing out on Preston's signature bread pudding. Overall, the Pre-Show package is worth trying again.

We didn't order any appetizers. but our escaped came 45 minutes after our order. otherwise the server and hostess were very nice.

Very inspiring eating here. the burger des sohnes was average, fish and chips were decent, my darkened garnels and pasta court came like a large bowl suppe with pasta and garnel floating around – very strange. it seemed like he ever cooked, it didn't know how to do it right. our waiter was very nice, so didn't have that heart to return my court. they need to redesign this menu and the ambiente – whether bland.

Great breakfast option while visiting our Hokie from out of state. The buffet was great and well stocked. Would eat here again
